Welcome to the June 2022 issue of the Merton Safeguarding Children Partnership news bulletin. Included in this issue are the presentations from our recent Full Partnership meeting as well as more information about the NHS Safeguarding Learning Together Week (27^th June – 1^st July) which will focus on child sexual abuse and exploitation.

The following upcoming training courses may be of interest to our partners.

• Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) training: managing allegations against staff. Wednesday 22^nd June 10-1pm
• Introduction to contextual harm (in person at Civic). Tuesday 5^th July 10am – 12pm
• Contextual Safeguarding and Introduction to Exploitation, Serious Youth Violence, Groups and Gangs (in person at Civic). Tuesday 5^th July 1 – 4.30pm.
• Evidence based interventions to support parents experiencing conflict in their relationships. Friday 8^th July 9.30am – 12.30 pm.
• Domestic Violence and Abuse. Thursday 21^st July 9.30am – 12pm.
