Police host anti knife-crime event in Merton
Merton’s Community Safety Partnership is hosting a community call to action event on Saturday 18 May in Morden Baptist Church, Crown Lane, Morden, SM4 5BL
The event will see partner agencies providing presentations on their work and how they contribute to tackling knife crime and will also have a market place where a wider group of partners will offer help and advice on their services and how to access them.
Partners will include Police, London Fire Brigade, Victim Support, Crimestoppers as well as Unique Talent, Catch 22, Redthread to name but a few. Organisers will be seeking to provide reassurances and hear residents’ views and suggestions as to how to tackle the issues around knife-crime in the borough.
